I particularly like the title of this one :D Is it just my wife or do other ladies like to go fishing for compliments?
I changed this one kinda at the last minute, if you guys stumble the past two semi true tales I’ll see about posting up the original version :D
By popular request heres a FREE wallpaper from the strip “Attack Cat.” It’s 1600 x 1200, I miiight be able to upload some other sizes if there is a demand for them, let me know.
If you guys like it and want to
a buck or two that’d be pretty rad :D (or just visit the shop!)
This past Saturday, I stopped by one of favorite webcomic podcast sites and to my surprise and sheer delight I found the guys at Digital Strips reviewed Pajama Forest! To my delight they had some very kind words to say about the strip, if you’d like to check it out you can listen to the review in it’s entirety at the link above (PJF stuff starts about 1/3 of the way into the podcast).
In other news, I’ve slightly changed the update schedule here. Rather than doing PJF strips Monday/Wednesday and a Semi-True-Tale on Fridays like I have been; I’m going to do two solid weeks of PJF strips and then one week of Semi-True-Tales. This way, I hope to be able to maintain better continuity with the story lines, and so it doesn’t jump around so much :D
I’d like to also announce the new official Pajama Forest Forums have launched! I’m not entirely sure what I’m going to do with them, but pretty much all discussion outside of the individual strip comments will be there from now on. Look for special news, artsie things, you can give your input on stuff, and shoot the breeze with me and other awesome readers. It’s hosted by my new buds at the Rampage Network.
Finally, there is sale going on at the newly updated Jammie Shop! Even if you don’t plan on buying anything, check it out and see the neat things there. More things to be added in the near future :D
Hey Pajama Buds! I’m super excited to announce a brand new T-Shirt is going to be offered in the Jammie Shop very soon! ALSO, I’m also offering this design on fancy new girly sized fitted shirt as well as the standard unisex comfy Tee.
This awesome piece of wearable art is going to the printer this week so be sure you pre order yours now because quantities are going to be very limited. Order now to get it before the holidays :D
P.S. Those who preorder will get a free sticker pack along with it. Way cool!
One cool dude has already won free stuff, and it’s anyone’s game this week as the Free Stuff Giveaway continues! What is it? If you missed it last week, peeps who Stumble the strips are entered for a chance to win cool Pajama Forest loot! The prize last week was this rad piece of art:
This week, I’m giving away that PLUS an additional secret prize with it :D So what are you waiting for? Sign up for a Stumble Upon thinggie if you haven’t already (it’s way easy and cool!), and start Stumbling for your chance to win!
A great big thanks to those who have been Stumbling, without my even having to ask. You are the raddest of the rad. Keep being cool.
Those who may be new Stumblers, make sure you’re on the actual strip page and not the home page before you thumbs up, otherwise it doesn’t count :\

To celebrate the opening of the Jammie Shop, all this month I will be giving away totally awesome Pajama Forest loot for free! Here’s how it’s gonna work, at the end of each week one lucky reader will get a sweet piece of merch from the Jammie Shop sent right to their door step!
How can you be a lucky reader? Simply leave a comment on any strip letting me know that you voted on Stumble Upon and voilà, you’re entered to win! Don’t have a Stumble Upon account? Click here and get one because it’s super easy! At the end of the week one reader will randomly be selected and get rad stuff!
Want more of a chance to win? I will be including a link to a previous strip you can vote on as well for extra credit!

This past week I’ve been working tirelessly on setting up the official Pajama Forest Shop. I’m thrilled to announce that it is now OPEN :D (It’s not the one from last week, that was a dry run. This one is WAY AWESOME) Check it out if you will, because there are some pretty sweet things there (and more to come)!
To celebrate the shop grand opening I will be giving away some sweet Pajama Forest merch! More details on that soon, but for now check the shop out!

By popular demand I’ve uploaded the latest strip as a free desktop wallpaper for a variety of screen sizes and for the iPhone as well! If you have a different screen size just let me know and I’ll try to oblige :D Check out the Stuff tab to download it yourself!

For those who don’t know, Pajama Forest has a pretty awesome Facebook club. All the Facebook pals have access to sneak previews and other cool artsie things I post up! Check it out, all the cool people are :D
Some changes to the site, I’ve updated the “New Reader” and “Stuff” pages with some cool stuff (A FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPER!!), those pages were kinda lacking =\ but NO LONGER! Check em out if you like, links at the top of the page. Also the comment section of each strip has a fancy new “Reply” feature, wow!
Other stuff, my wife and I carved us up some pretty sweet punkins! The church here was having some sort of contest so I threw my hat into the ring. The competition didn’t turn out too well for us, we got there late and pretty much everybody already voted. Ah well, dems the breaks. We had a blast making them anyway (note: the inside of pumpkins are totally gross >.< ). Click the little picture to see a bigger image and the wife’s punkin.
A cool webcomic YOU should be reading? Well I’ve got one for you! Dan Long’s Edmund Finney’s Quest to Find the Meaning of Life. There aren’t a whole lot of comics I read regularly or can recommend heartily, but this one I definitely can. It’s an ongoing story about a dude named Edmund and his adventures in trying to find the meaning of life (go figure!). I’d definitely start from the beginning since the strip is very smartly written and hilariously drawn. I heartily recommend you follow Mr. Long and his awesome comic/blog at EqComics.com.
Finally BIG thanks to everybody who has been stumbling the strips! Every single thumbs up helps out more than you know (digg and Reddit are pretty nice too if you do that). Even if you don’t have a Stumble Upon account and you want to help, you can sign up for one pretty easily. I post su.pr links on my twitter thing to make voting on Stumble Upon super easy, again I really really appreciate it and it helps a TON :D

Back from getting hitched, after a long-ish break from the old routine, scrounging up guest strips and updating sporadically…I’m really back. Getting used to the whole, “being married” thing, but it’s nice. She’s giving me tons of material (inadvertently) so much so that I’m planning on making the “Semi-True Tales” thing a regular feature. Every once in awhile we’ll take a break from August and pals and give you all a semi-true glimpse into my life :D
Some cool (new) news, if you’d like to get a sneak peek of the strips before everybody else, check out the Pajama Forest Facebook page, I’ll be posting sneaky peeks of every strip a day or two before it’s ever published! Come and speculate on what could possibly happen next. FUN! :D
Look for some cool stuff in the “Stuff” section. It’s been laying fallow for a while but I’d like to put it to use. Maybe make some of the more popular strips or panels into wallpapers and possibly put some other freebies and cool things in there. Requests are welcome :D
Cool stuff happening at TNP (the webcomic collective I’m a part of). With a fresh new site redesign and new features we’re set to make the TNP site a real hub of all of our strips. The center piece of the new site redesign is this fancy new chat dealie. A bunch of us comic artists hang out in there from time to time, talk shop, shoot the wind, whatever. We’ll tweet whenever we hop on the chat thing so you know when to join in if you’re into that kind of thing. Stop by see what we’re talking about and stuff.
Finally, I made a guest strip for a fellow webcomiker (Jeff Schuetze of JEFBOT fame), be sure and check it out; there’s a robot in it :D
Some strips from a little while ago have been edited for content since they were conveying something that I certainly didn’t mean to or even really realize. Ingesting things you ought not isn’t funny or safe and it’s not something I condone. I’m sorry to anyone who got the wrong idea.
-Evan

Heyo folks,
I was very busy this weekend (video games) and didn’t end up having enough time to do a proper blog post, but better late than later I guess. I’m getting married next week so if anyone has done a guest strip for me, now would be a great time to get them to me. If you were planning on doing a little something, it’d probably be a good time to get on that, I’ll be more or less out of commission for a few weeks, so I’ll need all the help I can get :)
I’ll have my laptop with me so I’ll do what I can to continue to update regularly while I’m away; however, after this week, Pajama Forest will move to a Monday, Wednesday, Friday update schedule. Sucks, I know, but between all my obligations here I just won’t have the time to do a quality strip every day, hope you guys understand. If/when things settle back down I fully plan on going back to updating as frequently as my crazy schedule will let me (3x/day maybe?).
I also wanted to thank everyone who has been supporting the strip. I read every single comment that you guys leave, even if I don’t comment back (though I try to), I get such a big kick out of them :D If you like the strip please take a second and toss me a thumbs up on Stumble Upon or Reddit or whatever, it helps me out a great deal. Whats in it for you? I’ll totally be your pal. Sounds like a deal to me!
Webcomic of Awesomeness for this week is another one of my favs. It goes by the name of The Abominable Charles Christopher. Author & artist Karl Kerschl says, “The Abominable Charles Christopher follows the adventures of a dim-witted yeti through a forest full of colourful animal characters.” But let me tell you, there is a lot more to it than that, under the beautifully drawn surface lies even more beautifully crafted characters and stories. It updates Wednesdays, I love Wednesdays because of this strip :D
Finally, an amazing video.

Woo, it sure is hot here in Texas in the middle of the summer. Lots of cool stuff happening this summer too (see what I did there? hah!). If you didn’t know, I am getting married at the end of the month :D So, I’m gonna be in need of some guest strips, or other art since I won’t have time to update five days a week like normal =\ I’ve already got a bunch of awesome artists lined up to help out in my absence, and if you’d like to throw your proverbial hat in to ring let me know! evandiaz(at)gmail.com
In other news, Pajama Fan Shay Badeau made some sweet fan art (literally!). Enjoy Officer Tastypants and the General like you never have before, in delicious 3D! Clickie for the full version.
The Webcomic of Awesomeness this week is one by the name of “You’ll Have That” by super awesome cartoonist (with an equally awesome name) Wes Molebash. It is a strip about a young married couple, Andy and Kate and their shenanigans as a young married couple. Brilliantly written and beautifully drawn, it is one of my favorites (and there aren’t a lot of those). Lots of “laugh out loud squirm in delight” moments, as well as “awww” moments. It had my rapt attention beginning to end (nearly brought a tear to my eye at the end there… *sniff*) Be sure you start reading from the beginning too!

Howdy :D
Been busy lately. I’ve been working pretty feverishly on a freelance project; a while back I was asked to do the illustration for a children’s book. I liked the concept and pitched to the author that it may be a good idea to release it in webcomic style, and he went for it :D I’ve got the character concept and cover done, as well as a tentative website up. The plan is that a new page of the book will be illustrated and released each week, webcomic style, and when all 32 pages (yes 32) are done the book will be published in all it’s glory. Check it out if you’re interested in other stuff I’m working on.
This week’s “Webcomic of Awesomeness” is My Cardboard Life by super awesome gal Phillipa J. Rice. It follows a jolly chap named Colin (who just happens to be made out of cardboard), and his bestest pal Pauline (papery!). Also, it may contain polar bears, super heroes, and the occasional pun if you’re into that kind of thing. The material is simply brilliant every time, I love it and I read it all the time. It updates M-W-F!
finally, some beautiful work by Mr. Aardman, if you’ve never heard of Purple and Brown before, you’re in for a real treat :D Purple and Brown
Hey-oo everybody,
Sorry I’ve been neglecting the ol’ Pajama Blog, lots of stuff has been happening and I’ve been pretty busy (lazy), so thats my excuse. First things first, I feel kinda stupid that I forgot to give some credit where it was most certainly due. Mr Scott Ferguson of NERF THIS fame spent many countless nights (probably) creating the sweet Pajama Forest logo. So many thanks to him, be sure to check out his amazing webcomic Nerf This. [I can't condone all the content, ignore the bad bits; otherwise, he does some great work!]
News about the strip, this week I’ll be revisiting one of my favorite arcs from Musings, hopefully doing it better though :D If you’ve seen it before, you get to enjoy it again (but better!), if you haven’t seen it, it’s new to you! I’m thinking about reintroducing some of my favorite stories from Musings every other week, alternating it with new content. What do you guys (and girlies) think?
In other news, the funniest video I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Enjoy.
Well everybody, this is it! I’m really excited. The webcomic formerly known as “Musings” has officially been relaunched, and I’m finally doing it right this time. Woo! Over the next few weeks expect to see a bunch of new stuff along with some of the stories from Musings; told better aaannnnd drawn better too :D Five days a week, sweet.
Be sure and let me know what you all think.
*PS this comic might not have anything to do with pajamas or forests (just sayin’).
**PPS but it might. Who’s to say?
