Things at my current full-time job are looking quite…grim.
This could be a great thing, or a really bad thing I don’t quite know yet. It may mean the beginning of Pajama Forest as my new full-time endeavor or it could just mean PJF would have to take a back seat for a bit while I find another job :\
I love creating Pajama Forest, making you guys laugh and smile; my dream would be to transition to Pajama Forest as my full-time endeavor. This would of course mean more updates, better art and stories, awesome vidja games, and it would also give more time to create a lot of the other projects I’ve been wanting to share with you all. I just don’t know if it’s possible at this point in time.
I’m trying to weigh my options, here they are as I see them:
- Find another full-time or freelance job while PJF continues to grow. (probably the most feasible option)
- Make the jump to PJF and freelance as a full-time endeavor. (of course the most ideal option, albeit kinda scary)
- Give it all up and live as a hobo under the bridge. (fun possibilities! however the wife has yet to be convinced of the virtues of such an unencumbered life)
So why am I telling you this? Because I’m confident that you, my awesome reader, can help.
Within in the next couple of weeks I’ll be announcing the long awaited PJF Volume I Book. Which will (hopefully) be the first real step toward getting PJF to really stand on it’s own two feet. But I want this to be your book I’m going to include you guys in a big way, more details on that later ;)
For now, if you (or someone you know) work somewhere that could use someone with my skills, please let me know or feel free to pass my name along. You know me as a cartoonist but I also have a number of other skills as well in 3D, special effects, video production, web/graphic design (my professional resume and work samples are available upon request!). Even if it’s not in any of these areas, whatever you guys have, let me know! I’m counting on you guys :D
